How do the Predictive Maintenance sensors work?

Our predictive maintenance sensors use a multi-axis motion sensor to capture vibration data along the X, Y, and Z axes. By applying a Fourier transform to this data, the sensors generate a detailed vibratory signature that enables early detection of mechanical faults.

Normal Operation

After an initial learning phase, the sensor continuously monitors equipment vibrations.

  • Routine Reporting: If no anomalies are detected, the sensor compiles its measurements and sends a summary report on a set interval

  • Alerting: When a vibration anomaly occurs, the sensor immediately transmits an alert message.

Adaptive Learning

Many machines operate in multiple modes. Using built-in AI, the sensor can learn and distinguish between these different operating states. Over time, it can recognize changes in equipment behavior and automatically adapt its detection models.
