Vutility HotDrop
Installation Instructions
The sensor requires active communication from Vutility in addition to being online through our App. The sensor may take minutes to hours to initially activate depending on the amount of current.
The sensor is self-powered from the line it is attached to – it does not require any batteries or power cable. You can optionally power it with microUSB if desired.
Locate Circuit breaker panel
2. Remove the panel - use gloves for safety and ensure power is off
3. Clip HotDrop on the wire to monitor

Power On Device
You will see data once your gateway and sensors are connected. If the sensor is not detecting any current then you may plug in a micro-usb connection to help jumpstart the sensor.
