Download Sensor Data

In this help article we will show you how to download the historical device data for a single device. Doing so allows you to store device readings for this device in your records or to examine the raw data in .csv format. It’s also important if you’re going to remove a device from our platform. The data history for any deleted devices is cleared, so be sure to download it if you’re planning to remove one.

Download Sensor Data

1. From the Manage Screen, click or tap on a sensor to view its History tab

2. Click on the Download Data icon in the upper-right:
   

   

3. Use the calendar control to select the desire date/time range in the last 30 days on the Last Month tab, or select a whole month from the Historical tab

4. Click Request Download. An email will be delivered to to the email address you’re logged in as within 5 minutes of the request with a link to the desired data.
   
   

Download Sensor Data Troubleshooting/FAQ

• I didn’t receive the data download email

  • If you’re still not getting the email, check to make sure that you’re logged in as a user with the same email address you are checking.

  • Check your junk/spam folder in your email client

  • In rare cases there are very old Device Templates which don’t support the Download Sensor Data feature. You can update to a newer template, or check with us if you’re not sure.

• I want to download more than a month a time

  • The Download Sensor Data feature is limited to 1-month as the maximum individual download at this time. Repeat for each month if you need more sensor history.
