The following will show you how to manually replace a beacon battery using batteries that you purchase and install yourself. The beacons take a 3V CR2477 coin battery.

Remove rubber seal on back of beacon

Use mini Philips screwdriver to remove 3 screws

Pull apart the two halves of the beacon

Replace the 3V CR2477 coin battery

Put together beacon halves with rubber center

Screw pieces together

Power on Beacon by pressing the power button until you see a blinking red light.
If you see a solid red light, repeat pressing the power button and you should see a blinking red light.
